Live and online offerings help dental professionals stay up-to-date.

ST. PAUL, Minnesota--3M ESPE has announced an expanded list of Espertise Educational Seminars.

The list now includes seminars on digital impressions and implant dentistry intended to help dental professionals broaden their skills and advance their practices.

The new courses complement 3M ESPE's existing roster of Espertise courses, which includes practical advice and instruction in live workshops, as well as online continuing education opportunities on a variety of materials and techniques.

"Providing education that goes beyond the specifics of our products is part of the overall value we offer," said Steve Bonfig, global communications manager, 3M ESPE.

"We view it as a responsibility really. We aim to demonstrate "how to" type information, and illustrate the details, chemistry and technology behind our products so that dental professionals can apply them easily in practice."

In addition to the continuing education opportunities that are available 24 hours a day on the Espertise Web site, live webcasts also bring an interactive component to the online offerings.

For more hands-on opportunities, the Web site can help dental professionals locate nearby courses and dates. The site details the variety of continuing education offerings in live and Web-based formats.
