CHICAGO--Hu-Friedy and several of their dental community friends will be joining the fun at the Eighth Annual WGN Morning News Back to School Kids Fair from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Aug. 7.
The fair will take place at 2501 W. Bradley Place.
The fair is an opportunity for Chicago-area students and their families to receive free health screenings, immunizations, safety and product updates, plus many free items. These include school supplies and delicious snacks.
Free diagnostic dental exams will be provided by Hu-Friedy under the assistance and expertise of pediatric dentist, Dr. Grace Yum, the Chicago Dental Hygiene Society, the dental program at University of Illinois at Chicago, and the Hispanic Dental Association.
Donations and supplies from Darby Dental, Sonicare, and Hu-Friedy will equip the dental professionals on site to perform exams for the first 150 attendees to visit the Hu-Friedy booth.
Oral health-care instructions and tips on brushing and flossing will be shared to the tune of lively music with the help from some puppet friends. A raffle for new-to-the-market Sonicare Kids electronic toothbrushes will also take place.
