DENTSPLY Prosthetics will commemorate the corporate anniversary with festivities.

YORK, Pennsylvania--As part of the DENTSPLY 110-Year anniversary celebration on June 23, 2009, DENTSPLY Prosthetics will commemorate the corporate anniversary with festivities.

Festivities will include two new milestones for the West College Avenue facility--the grand openings of the Compartis USA milling center and the Prosthetics Museum. Ribbon-cutting ceremonies for both will be held consecutively, beginning at 9 a.m.

Compartis USA is a centralized milling center that offers CAD/CAM outsourcing services to dental laboratory customers. The facility was recently added for expansion into this growing, high-technology platform.

The DENTSPLY Prosthetics Museum showcases DENTSPLY Trubyte artifacts and memorializes the division's history (1907 to present) through educational and interactive displays. The museum will be open to employees, as well as customers and guests by invitation.

Additionally, the Prosthetics division will host its annual Employee Safety & Health Awareness Fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 23. This venue promotes learning for associates through interactive displays and games, provided by local nonprofit organizations and businesses.
