Nobel Biocare announces two staff appointments

Melker Nilsson named senior vice president of business development for North America, and John Cox has been promoted to senior vice president of sales North America, effective immediately.

Nobel Biocare has announced two staff appointments.

Melker Nilsson has been appointed senior vice president of business development for North America. He takes over the responsibility for marketing, training and education, customer support and clinical support. He will also assume responsibility for coordinating the activities of several other central functions.

Also John Cox, previous vice president of sales North America, has been promoted to senior vice president of sales North America, effective immediately. Cox will continue to serve as general manager of Nobel Biocare Canada.

Melker's career in dental care spans almost 18 years. Most recently, he was president of Neoss USA for three years. Prior to joining Neoss, Melker achieved success in various North American and international senior general management, sales and marketing positions at Nobel Biocare.

Before he initially joined Nobel Biocare, Melker gained experience in the banking and financial services industry, earning a Masters of Law Degree from Lund University in Sweden.
