ST. PAUL, Minnesota--Patterson Dental has announced changes to its leadership team.
Dave Misiak has been appointed to vice president of sales. Patterson Dental Great Lakes Region Manager Tim Rogan has been promoted to vice president, marketing, merchandise.
Misiak, whose appointment is effective immediately, has served as Patterson Dental vice president, marketing, merchandise, since 2008. He began his career with Patterson in 1996 as a territory representative, then equipment specialist, with the San Francisco branch.
Misiak's experience with Patterson also includes equipment specialist, Oklahoma City branch manager and Boston branch manager prior to his promotion to director of business development in 2007.
"Dave's successful sales experience and strong understanding of Patterson's sales culture, combined with his proven leadership and results, make him ideally suited to lead our sales organization and further impact our dental business," said Paul Guggenheim, Southwest Region manager, who was recently named Patterson Dental president effective at the start of the new fiscal year in May.
"I look forward to working closely with Dave to build on the successful sales foundation in place at Patterson Dental."
Rogan began his Patterson career in 1993 as a territory representative with the Boston branch. After building a successful territory and rising to one of Patterson's top sales representatives, Rogan advanced to roles that include equipment specialist, Maine Branch manager and Metro NY/NJ Branch manager. Rogan begins his new duties in May.
"Tim will apply his experience and proven record of success in working with our business partners to drive additional value to customers and grow the consumable side of our business," Guggenheim said.
Rogan's responsibilities will also include managing the Patterson Advantage customer loyalty program.
Former Vice President of Sales, Grant Gerke, has returned to A-dec to become vice president of marketing. Before joining Patterson in 2006, Gerke had spent more than 12 years with A-dec, most recently as vice president of international and domestic sales.
"Grant has guided our sales efforts and contributed greatly to the success of many strategic initiatives," Patterson Dental President Scott Anderson said. "While we will miss Grant at Patterson, we are excited about his new responsibilities with our valued partner, A-dec, and look forward to working closely with him for many years to come."
As previously reported, Anderson will succeed retiring James W. Wiltz as president and chief executive officer of Patterson Companies (NASDAQ: PDCO) in May.
