HATFIELD, Pennsylvania--Imaging Sciences International, a global leader in advanced dental and maxillofacial radiography products, launched the i-CAT Imaging Institute with a new series of educational seminars for dental professionals using or interested in 3-D technology.
The events, to be held in cities nationwide, have been designed as educational seminars for dental specialists to learn how 3-D imaging technology works, how to implement it for maximum patient and practice benefit, and how compatible cone beam products can be used with 3-D imaging machines to enhance patient care.
All courses are presented by leading dental professionals currently using 3-D technology in their practice.
"The success of the 'First International Congress on 3-D Dental Imaging' that Imaging Sciences hosted early this year reaffirmed that the interest in Cone Beam 3-D imaging technology is continuing to grow throughout the industry," said Ed Marandola, president and CEO of Imaging Sciences International. "More dental professionals are recognizing that 3-D imaging can expand their practice and improve patient care and treatment planning in ways never before possible. Dentists are looking for quality education and resources to make the right decisions to implement this new technology into their practice, and we are thrilled to be able to bring them the expert guidance that these seminars will deliver."
Upcoming dates and locations include:
Jan. 19 in Philadelphia
Feb. 8 in Dallas
March 2008 in Baltimore
April 2008, location of the Second International Congress on 3-D Dental Imaging, to be determined.
