It's getting close to back-to-school time, and it's a perfect time for dental practices to offer Back-to-School specials for students and teachers. S'mores anyone?

It’s no secret that most students, and even some parents and teachers, dread the back-to-school season. What if your dental office made the back-to-school transition a little easier for everyone? August is a great time for your practice to take advantage of some prime marketing opportunities, which can include special offers just for students and teachers. It’s a perfect time to exceed patient expectations and educate the community on the importance of good dental health for children and teachers alike.

Here are some dental marketing ideas for August and the back-to-school season:

Theme: Back-to-school with Healthy Smiles!
Target Audience:
Teachers and school-aged children
How:

Send a press release to local papers and news stations with “Children’s Dental Health Tips for Parents,” such as healthy snack and beverage ideas, when to visit the dentist, brushing and flossing tips, mouth guard information, sealants information, and more.
Post social media and blog posts with dental health tips for children.
Promote special offers just for teachers and students during August.
Send a press release and promote social media posts that focus on kindergarten-aged children, including something like, “Getting your child’s oral health ready for kindergarten.”
