    CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio-- Coltène/Whaledent Inc. has introduced ParaPost Taper Lux, a tapered translucent esthetic post system designed for use in long, narrow canals and for canals prepared with greater taper files.

    Clinicians now have the choice of tapered (ParaPost Taper Lux) or parallel (ParaPost Fiber Lux) esthetic post designs. Made of the same translucent fiber resin material as the highly rated ParaPost Fiber Lux, the ParaPost Taper Lux post system can be used with self, dual or light cured materials for fast cementation.

    Like the ParaPost Fiber Lux,the ParaPost Taper Lux is highly radiopaque. The post's undercut, rounded head design reduces stress points and locks in composite core materials. A high percentage of uni-directional fibers give the ParaPost Taper Lux excellent strength characteristics.

    Color-coded with easy to remove bands, ParaPost Taper Lux posts are available in four sizes: 4.5, 5, 5.5 and 6, minimizing the amount of dentin that needs to be removed.

    The ParaPost Taper Lux is the newest addition to the ParaPost family of quality products from Coltene/Whaledent Inc.
