Benco Dental will integrate JB Dental operations into its own, continuing sales and support to existing customers through an established team of 30 employees.

Benco Dental has announced that it has absorbed JB Dental's sales, service and general operations in Texas. California-based JB Dental is a provider of dental equipment and supplies. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Benco Dental will integrate JB Dental operations into its own, continuing sales and support to existing customers through an established team of 30 employees. As part of the agreement, Benco Dental also gains a fourth warehouse to supplement its existing facilities in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., Jacksonville, Fla., and Fort Wayne, Ind.

"The acquisition fits perfectly into our company's business plan," said Benco Dental's president, Charles Cohen. "Not only does it expand our reach into new markets, but it also augments our distribution capabilities, which will result in improved service for all of our customers."

According to Cohen, similarities between the two companies -- most notably their independent, customer-focused philosophies -- will make for a seamless transition among customers and employees alike. "Anyone accustomed to dealing with JB Dental will feel very much at home with Benco Dental."
