Descriptions of pay arrangements based on production or commission

  • I get monthly bonuses ranging from $5-$10 each for completing an FMX, fluoride, scaling and root planning, and giving anesthesia.
  • Bonuses are determined on how much the office brings each month and each person's bonus is based on their "base" bonus number the office must reach. For instance, the people who were hired recently have a higher base salary (hourly) and therefore a higher office bonus number that must be reached before they qualify for a bonus. The people working here for many years have a lower base salary (hourly) and therefore have a lower bonus number to reach to get a bonus.
  • We have a daily goal to produce. We get 20% of anything over the daily goal we produce
  • Hourly pay plus percentage of my own production, minus my salary.
