DentistryIQ and onDiem announce new media collaboration

Aug. 11, 2020
The collaboration includes a new monthly newsletter, Dental Works, and topic center on DentistryIQ.com. Content will focus on the latest career advice for dental professionals, as well as the benefits of flexible staffing for dental practices.

The Endeavor Business Media Dental Group is pleased to announce a new media collaboration with onDiem, a national on-demand staffing platform that connects dental practices with verified dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and front office professionals. The EBM-onDiem collaboration features a new topic center on DentistryIQ and a monthly newsletter, Dental Works, that will contain exclusive content and be sent to 90,000 dental professionals.

"onDiem is a true innovator in the health-care staffing space," says Craig Dickson, publisher of the Endeavor Business Media Dental Group. "We are excited to work with them to bring dynamic new content to our expansive audience of dental professionals. Our audience looks to us to help them make informed choices about their careers and businesses, and onDiem's perspective will be invaluable to help the entire dental team understand the rapidly changing job market."

“This incredible collaboration with Endeavor Business Media Dental Group is the result of some inspired thinking from Cellerant Consulting Group and Dr. Lou Shuman,” says Joe Fogg, CEO and founder of onDiem. “It’s a totally new model, bringing together the larger community of students, dental professionals, practice owners, and support services to share ideas and solutions to both old and new challenges. One thing we all have in common is working. We’re looking forward to creating new stories, insights, and advice that will help professionals create successful careers, and help practices grow and thrive.”

Through its articles and videos, the monthly Dental Works newsletter and DentistryIQ topic center will examine opportunities and challenges that dental professionals face as they shape their careers. It will also educate dental practice owners on the latest benefits of flexible staffing solutions.

From navigating school closings and childcare responsibilities to managing staffing needs during the COVID-19 pandemic, newsletter content will address today's urgent workforce issues. Content will further include strategies for dental professionals to make their work lives fit with their personal lives—and not the other way around.

“There is no ‘business as usual’ in our industry anymore,” said Fogg. “The impact the global pandemic and failing economy have had on working families and businesses is substantial. We have to recalibrate our collective thinking about how to create a job market and career opportunities that support flexibility, security, and safety. That means thinking differently about things like flexible staffing, safe working conditions, how we support one another on the job, and ultimately, how we empower caregivers to provide optimal oral health care even in the worst of circumstances.”

About onDiem

Founded in Portland, Oregon, in 2017, onDiem's staffing platform connects dental practices and dental professionals in all 50 states to meet real-time staffing needs. onDiem distinguishes itself from other staffing platforms by offering employees, not contractors for temporary shifts. They eliminate the burden of staffing compliance, so practices can focus on maximizing production and revenue. onDiem dental professionals enjoy health-care benefits, employer-paid taxes, and insurance coverage, along with the ability to set their own work schedule and hourly rates. With a free account, dental professionals can look for temporary and permanent job opportunities, and practices can create posts for new temp shifts, search for professionals in their area, and communicate with candidates directly. Today the platform serves over 32,000 dental professionals and over 13,000 dental practices.
