Observation: Although most of the responses indicate a belief that it is difficult to find a job in Nevada, the percentages who believe it is “very easy” or “relatively easy” are well above the national averages.

Observation: The percentage of Nevada hygienists who received a raise within the last year is 15 percentage points above the national average.
Most common hourly pay rates in Nevada
$40, $43, $45
Observation: Nevada, of course, shares a long border with its neighbors in California. So common pay rates are well above the national average
Descriptions of pay arrangements based on production or commission
- I earn either hourly or 30% of production, whichever is greater. Figured on a monthly basis.
- I am paid an hourly rate. Then, once I meet a benchmark in production, I get a percentage as a bonus. There is a tier system for percentages.
- Bonus on production and collections is based on the entire office production and collections, not just hygiene, and paid the difference if I make over my daily goal all month.
