Boost your DentistryIQ: Store and access all of your images in one secure place

Sept. 18, 2020
Technology just keeps getting better, and your practice can easily integrate many of its advantages. Patrick Williams of Apteryx talks about XVWeb, why it sets the company apart from many others, and how it can benefit your dental practice.

XVWeb is a true cloud-based software dental image management software from Apteryx Imaging, explains Patrick Williams in this interview with Dr. Pamela Maragliano-Muniz. Williams, who's with Apteryx, explains some of the reasons why “it’s a robust application.”

Dentists can manage their images from any device, as well as manage all of their data in one cloud-based repository. He tells Dr. Pam that how XVWeb works is what makes it different from most other software systems, such as that it works with every sensor in the market. Many of the other features that set Apteryx apart, including prices on their website and a free 30-day trial, are why many dentists appreciate it. Dr. Pam acknowledges that dentists do like the transparency.

Williams explains what DICOM-based imaging is, and that Apteryx is one of the few companies offering this to dentists. The medical field is using it more widely, and Williams believes it will become more common in dentistry very soon.

Dr. Pam asks about XVWeb’s security features, why dentists should check out the software, and much more in this latest Boost Your DentistryIQ video.
