The list, which is in its ninth year, appeared on the magazine's website on May 2, 2012. The list can be viewed at http://www.forbes.com/sites/ericsavitz/2012/05/02/the-forbes-fast-tech-25-our-annual-list-of-growth-kings/2/.
To qualify for the list, Forbes researched more than 5,000 publicly traded technology companies, identifying those profitable organizations with minimum revenue of $150 million and minimum market value of $500 million.
Forbes also looked for firms with sales growth of at least 10% for each of the past three fiscal years and during the latest 12 months. Requirements also included companies to have three-to-five year estimated earnings-per-share growth rates greater than 10%. Finally, companies were ranked on their three-year average sales growth rates.
“For the third consecutive year, Quality Systems was named among Forbes’ 25 fastest-growing technology firms in the company of some of this country’s most impressive technology providers,” said Steven T. Plochocki, chief executive officer.
"We appreciate the efforts of our dedicated employees, who continue to make these recognitions possible. Quality Systems continues to further cement its leadership position as it aids physicians, dentists and hospitals in the transformation process to electronic health records."
