ROCK HILL, South Carolina--A recent study of key opinion leaders with Dental Team Concepts' Catapult Coterie showed that almost 80% of those testing KOMET USA's Pin-Diamonds would use the instrument in their practice.

Dental Team Concepts, run by Drs. Lou Graham and Mark Latta, also stated in their product evaluation summary that a little more than 70% of the evaluators gave Pin-Diamonds a high grade.

According to the product evaluation, 97.3% of the testers used Pin-Diamonds for crown preparations, 62.2% on occlusal ceramic adjustment, 45.9% operative cavity preparation, 45.9% occlusal composite adjustment, and 27% occlusion adjustment metal. Some of the evaluators even said Pin-Diamonds facilitated less tissue trauma and helped with marginal finishing of preparations."

"We thank Catapult and Dental Team Concepts for testing one of KOMET USA's most innovative rotary instruments," said Warren White, COO of sales and marketing at KOMET USA. "Pin-Diamonds can assist with the final marginal finish and guarantee a controlled, homogeneous shoulder preparation with a defined, uniform cutting depth."
