Dental Hygienist Salary Survey 2014

Difficulty in finding a job as a dental hygienist in Florida

Observation: Florida is very close to the national averages. But pay attention to the number of hygienists who said it is “relatively easy” to find a job; it’s six percentage points above the national average (8%). That’s kind of odd for a state that’s always been popular with foreign dentists and dental hygiene transplants.

Observation: Quite a few have never seen a pay raise (national average is 13%). As a result, the percentage of recent raises is lower than it is in other states.
