Aseptico signs on to “Climb for a Cause”

Sept. 18, 2013

Aseptico, a dental equipment manufacturer, has signed on to support SmileTree and Climb for a Cause for another year. Aseptico shares SmileTree’s vision of offering the highest quality dental care to those in need, and they have supported this vision by becoming the exclusive dealer of The Wand STA, a computer-controlled anesthesia delivery system that is making dentistry comfortable, pain-free, and less stressful for the patient and clinician.

Since 2011 Aseptico has actively supported the mission of Climb for a Cause and for the second time, Chris Berry, Aseptico sales representative and avid outdoor enthusiast, will join our team of hikers during the 2013 Annual Climb for a Cause. This year almost 50 participants from all over the country will meet at the Taos Ski Valley to hike the eight mile trek to Wheeler Peak.

SmileTree and Climb for a Cause supported clinics provide children with oral health education, an exam and treatments. Clinics are held in the same location at least every two years to ensure continuous care. In 2013 SmileTree will support nine dental clinics in four countries, ensuring the delivery of dental care to thousands of children. During the two week Guatemala clinic this summer we were able to serve 1,210 children. 752 fluoride treatments, 1,184 fillings, 73 composites and 212 extractions were performed at no cost. The value of care totaled nearly $325,000.

Daniel A. ‘Danny’ Bobrow, SmileTreeExecutive Director saysWe are extremely pleased to again have Aseptico’s support. Their high standards and desire to give back have made them an excellent partner in giving.”
