LOMPOC, California--DenMat, a manufacturer esthetic dentistry and advanced oral health solutions, unveiled a new global headquarters here with a festive open house for local dignitaries, special guests, and representatives from various media outlets.
Guests were welcomed by company CEO Steve Semmelmayer and members of the management team. The evening event featured a brief presentation about the company by Semmelmayer, followed by guided tours of the new facility. The catered event also featured local wines from Pali Winery, DenMat’s neighbor on the California Central Coast. Attendees included Lompoc Mayor John Linn, Chief of Police Larry Ralston, personnel from nearby Vandenberg Air Force Base, and representatives from the CBS and NBC affiliates in Santa Barbara, Calif.In June 2013, DenMat completed the move to Lompoc from its previous headquarters in Santa Maria, Calif. The new, 92,000-square-foot facility houses all of the company’s U.S. operations, including manufacturing, lab services, sales, marketing, warehousing, distribution, administrative services, and the executive offices. The interior boasts a contemporary design and incorporates many “green” features for lighting, including large exterior and interior windows, glass walls for offices and tambient lighting systems. DenMat also built an expanded dental laboratory in the facility that should increase service levels and efficiency. Also featured on the guided tour was the company’s new 26-seat Dental Learning Center, complete with a functional dental operatory and audio/visual presentation technology.
