ORANGE, California--SOTA Imaging has introduced the Claris i4D intraoral camera to the dental industry.

A manufacturer of many intraoral cameras since the late 1980s, SOTA Imaging--formerly known as SOTA Optics--has developed a fifth generation Claris that represents a step in evolution after more than two decades of intraoral camera manufacturing experience.

The Claris i4D has a new design that features a secure cable connection, revamped LEDs for greater illumination and depth-of-field, and a light on-off switch.

SOTA also hopes release tablet-friendly "Cliosoft" digital imaging software in conjunction with the launch of the Claris i4D.
