PHOENIX, Arizona--The Ninth Annual SmartScramble Charity Golf Tournament presented by SmartPractice and SmartScrubs will be held May 6, 2011, at the McCormick Ranch Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz. It’s a way for the dental community to come together to help kids while enjoying a day of golf, networking, prizes, and CE opportunities. In 2010, nearly 250 golfers and volunteers raised $20,000 to help underserved children in Arizona with everything from their first dental checkup to minor oral surgery. The 2011 event features an initial opportunity to earn four CE Credits with a seminar titled, “Social Media Secrets You Need to Know to Grow Your Practice,” presented by Jan Hill of SM3 Dental Marketing. Class attendees will receive $100 off registration to another four CE Credit event, “The Christensen Bottom Line,” presented by Dr. Gordon J. Christensen Sept. 1 2011, at the Tempe Center for the Arts. SmartScramble registration is just $125 and includes one round of golf and breakfast/lunch (morning round) or lunch/reception (afternoon round). Also included is a goodie bag, sleeve of golf balls, golf shirt, umbrella, and towel.Registration for the Social Media CE class is an additional $100.
