Progeny Dental, Inc., manufacturer of intra-oral dental imaging systems, announced today that it has acquired Scottsdale, Arizona-based Cygnus Technologies, a leading manufacturer of intraoral cameras, multi-media software, and digital X-ray systems.
Progeny Dental entered the dental imaging scene April 2002 with the introduction of the JB-70, an intra-oral dental X-ray system that provides increased productivity, ease of use and exceptional design. The JB-70 was developed by a team of world class dental imaging professionals brought together by Progeny and is earning enthusiastic acceptance from dental professionals for both aesthetics and functionality.

Cygnus Technologies products are sold worldwide and include portable intraoral cameras, digital X-ray systems, digital imaging software and digital dental camera kits. Cygnus products are installed and used in more than 12,000 dental offices worldwide.
