SANTA MARIA, California--DenMat, a leader in thin porcelain veneer systems for smile enhancement, has announced an expansion in the company's executive management team.

“We’re thrilled to put together a team with such extraordinary depth and experience in dentistry,” said Robert Cartagena, chief operating officer of Den-Mat Holdings.

“Each new team member demonstrates exceptional leadership qualities in their respective areas, proven by their successful track records in our industry. Moreover, they all share our commitment to providing superior, fanatical

Leading the DenMat Sales group is Shawn Potter, senior vice president of global sales. Potter brings 17 years of global leadership to DenMat, most recently serving as general manager of the orascoptic and surgical acuity businesses (Sybron Dental Specialties, Danaher Corporation).

With more than 14 years in the dental industry, Oliver Gelles joins DenMat as senior vice president of global marketing. Formerly vice president, global marketing and product development for Ormco Corporation (Sybron Dental Specialties, Danaher Corporation), Gelles has broad international experience in dentistry.

“Both Oliver and Shawn understand, first and foremost, the importance of taking care of our customers,” said Cartagena. “Their proven track records of success across major dental markets will be great fits with the new direction of the company.”
