Endo x-rays made really, really easy

Jan. 25, 2021
Dr. Stacey Gividen has a quick tip that will make those nightmarish endo radiographs easy! Have a listen in this video.

Let’s get to the point: taking x-rays while doing endo is a nightmare. Assistants hate them. I hate them. But, if you can believe it, my perception has now changed. Yup, believe it.

We recently purchased x-ray sensor holders made by DEXIS. Where have they been over the last umpteen years?! Not sure why I’ve never used them before, but I haven’t. You can get the sensor holders from any supplier. They are the best thing since sliced bread, and they work really well all over the mouth. Retakes are minimal. Promise.

If you already have and use them, I’m jealous. If not, then give them a go and make these nightmarish rads a dream come true. OK, it’s a stretch saying that but, seriously, try them!

If you feel up to it and have a minute to spare (I’m hoping you do), tell me what you use in your clinic to make tasks such as this easier and better!
