Whip Mix introduces the MainStay II

Dec. 17, 2009
System is designed for fabricating crown and bridge working models with sectioned, removable dies.

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky--Whip Mix adds a dual dowel pin system, the MainStay II, to the MainStay™ line of products.

The MainStay II is a system for fabricating crown and bridge working models with sectioned, removable dies. Its protective sleeve and tapered, dual pin design prevents reverse placement of sectioned dies.

In addition, the protective sleeve grips the dowel pin creating positive indexing while protecting the base stone material from abrasion. The pins are compatible with most pin setting machines, therefore requiring no change in procedure.

MainStay II's rubber end cap stabilizes quadrant models prior to base stone application and makes it easy to expose the dowel pin without the use of a dowel pin bur. MainStay II is available as a box of 1,000 pins, sleeves, and rubber end caps.

For a limited time, Whip Mix is offering a special introductory promotion. If you buy three boxes, you will get one free.
